Privacy Policy.
Last Updated: July 2, 2026
At Harkle QR, user privacy is our highest priority. Because our tool does not require registration, login, or any subscription fees, we do not build databases or track individual user profiles.
1. Information Processing (Zero Collection)
All inputs you enter into the QR code form (such as URL links, WiFi SSIDs, network passwords, UPI payment IDs, and WhatsApp phone numbers) are processed dynamically in your browser.
We do not store, intercept, or logs these details on our servers. The QR Code graphic is fetched directly from the QR Server API and rendered locally. Your WiFi passwords or transaction amounts stay local on your browser instance.
2. Cookies and Tracking
Harkle QR does not write trackers or third-party marketing cookies onto your machine. We may use local storage (`localStorage`) solely to store your light/dark mode theme preference. This runs natively on your machine and does not transmit telemetry data back to us.
3. Third Party Services
To render QR codes, we make client-side HTTP calls to the free public API hosted at https://api.qrserver.com. Their processing of that string is governed by their own privacy parameters. We do not pass metadata, tracking tokens, or user headers to them.
4. Updates to This Policy
We may update this privacy statement from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
