Harkle QR was founded on a simple belief: fundamental internet tools should be free, open, and private.

Too many websites today take simple tasks—like converting a link or a WiFi SSID into a QR code—and lock them behind registration paywalls, dynamic redirects that expire when payments fail, and tracking scripts. We saw a growing frustration among local business owners, cafes, and independent creators who just wanted a clean, permanent QR code to print on their menus or cards.

Why We Are Different

Most commercial QR generators promote "dynamic" QR codes because it allows them to insert a redirect link they control. If you stop paying their monthly subscription, they route your printed QR code to a 404 page or advertisement.
